Drop Tag is a Cinema 4D Tag Plugin that places your object onto the surface of a target mesh.

Drop Tag is ideal for situations where you want to make sure an object remains on the surface of another while you still change the underlying mesh. It also can help you to quickly place objects on a surface, like plants on the ground, dishes on a table or buildings on a landscape.
Features

You have control over the distance to the surface
You can still move the object in X and Z direction while it drops to the target mesh
Drop Tag never changes X or Y coordinates
The object stick to the surface during changes
