Smart Outline is a spline object plugin for Cinema 4D
It creates an outline of a given spline just like the "create outline" tool,
but with animateable offset/distance.
features:
acts as a real spline object
simple to use - just drag the sourcesplines into it or use the linkbox
works with all spline- and NURBS-objetcs - can be lofted and extruded
also outlines animated, deformed splines and is deformable itself
supports mixed object hierarchies
allows to keep/reverse the resulting outlines pointorder
can preserve or flatten the source transformation
new feature: chamfers the resulting spline
supports C4D R10 and all newer versions for PC- (32/64bit) and Mac
it's free!
