This Node can be used to save a section of points, edges or polygons as a selection with a custom name. With the Active Selection Node, this selection can then be activated based on its name, e.g., to apply a modeling function to this selection only.

这个节点可以用来保存一部分的点，边或多边形作为一个自定义名称的选择。使用主动选择节点，这个选择可以根据它的名称激活，例如，只对这个选择应用一个建模函数。

A second function makes it possible, for example, to hide polygons in the Viewport.

In this example, two polygons on a cube are first hidden using a Set Selection Node. Hidden polygons can then also be selected using and Active Selection Node and - as in this example - beveled.. 在本例中，多维数据集上的两个多边形首先使用 Set Selection Node 隐藏起来。隐藏的多边形也可以通过使用和主动选择节点来选择，就像这个例子中的斜面。
