This value defines the distance from the initial element to the last clone along the selected shape axis. All intermediate clones will simultaneously be distributed along the same distance.

This percentage value defines how many cloned elements should be output. For the winding staircase, several steps would be missing. If set to 0%, the complete number of clones will be generated. This value defines the geometry axis around which the clones will rotate. For a winding staircase, this would be the cube’s Y axis. For a realistic-looking winding staircase, the axis should lie slightly outside of the cube.

This value defines the distance to which the clones should rotate around the geometry axis. If set to 180°, half a rotation will be generated, if set to 360° a complete rotation will be generated.

Each clone will be assigned its own virtual axis (this will be calculated based on the clone’s center of gravity). The clones can be rotated randomly. The degree that can be defined for each rotation axis defines the maximum positive and negagtive rotation around the respective axis.

An angle of 45° would restrict the clones to a rotation between -45° and 45°.
