Here you can establish a link between the Spline object and the Node. To do so, drag the respective Spline object from the Object Manager into the Node’s Object field in the Attribute Manager. This work with either parametric splines as well as Spline objects. Alternatively, an Object Link Node can be used to link a Spline object whse output can then be linked with this input.

This percent value refers to the section between the first and the last point of an assigned spline. The Node ascertains the position and the tangential direction at the respective location along the spline. Negative values and values in excess of 100% can be defined, which will automatically convert the allowable value range to between 0% and 100%.

If enabled, the Offset percent value will be calculated independently of the defined intermediate point settings for the spline. An Offset value of 50% will define a position exactly at the center of the spline curve. Otherwise the Offset will orient itself to the intermediate point density of the curve so that, for example, larger modifications must often be made to the Offset value in order to cover the same distance compared to a straight section of the spline.

This option is only relevant if multiple segments exist on the Spline object. In this case, you can enable Single Segment and set the Segment Index value that you want queried. The count will begin at 0 for the spline’s first segment.
