This Node can be used to edit Node-based materials within the Node environment. Note however the difference to working directly with the material system’s Node. Since the process is only evaluated once per frame, no samples per image pixel can be calculated. This means that the use of Generators, e.g., for noises or gradients, won’t work as if these were to come straight from the material. This can be circumvented when texturing clones, for example, by using the distribution’s Ratio value to sample color generators themselves at different positions and then transfer these colors to the clones.
