Compared to the Basic Gradient, the Gradient offers, among others, additional options for repetition and distortion. For example, completely new gradient directions or shapes can be created by inputting variable brightness values for the distortion, as shown in this example. 与基本渐变相比,渐变为重复和扭曲提供了更多的选择。例如,可以通过输入失真的可变亮度值来创建全新的梯度方向或形状,如本例所示

This Node can be used to create a color gradient, as can be done using the Gradient shader in the standard Material System. A Position value can be used to extract a color sample from any location and output it. The settings here are much more diverse than those of the Basic Gradient Node.
