This command converts selected UV polygons primarily to a rectangular shape, whereby the direction can be adapted and/or the mesh homogenized.

To apply this command, the selection must

Equidistant Distribution

This option can be used to arrange the UV points in a constant distance from one another. A homogenous UV mesh will result.

Otherwise only the selection edges will be straightened and the respective opposing edge points will be connected linearly.
