The barber’s most important tool can’t be left out: The scissor. Simply use this tool to cut the guides (click & drag) in a given view. All guides, regardless of settings or mode, that fall within the radius of this tool will be cut.

The number of guides will remain unchanged. They will simply be cut shorter.
