Align UV Islands

This function will rotate an edge selection, including all UV islands, vertically or horizontally with no deformation. Multiple selections can be made on different UV Islands and each will be edited independently.

The selected edge will rotate in the direction of the island - depending if they lie more along the horizontal or vertical axis.

If multiple edges are selected, the mean direction will be ascertained and rotated correspondingly. The rotation point will always lie that the center of the selection.
