New Alpha Channel

If you choose this command, a new alpha channel is created for the material channel or texture based on an existing selection. If there is no selection, the alpha channel is filled with white and the entire channel will be visible.

如果选择此命令，则会基于现有选择为材质通道或纹理创建一个新的 alpha 通道。如果没有选择，alpha 通道将填充白色，整个通道将是可见的。

You can also use this command to save selections. To restore a saved selection, activate the alpha channel and choose Select / Selection From Layer from the main menu.

您还可以使用此命令保存选择。要恢复已保存的选区，激活 alpha 通道并从主菜单中选择“选择/选择图层”。
