This setting affects selected tracks (Dope Sheet mode) and selected F-Curves (F-Curve mode) and creates a key for all selected items at a specific time in the animation (a dialog window will open in which you can define the time). Key values from neighboring keys will be interpolated. The F-Curve will remain unchanged.
